Just a few shots from weigh in at the Bayou Coast Where Y'at tournament. The wind was absolutely brutal, and I was pretty thoroughly impressed with how many people caught fish. I managed to squeak into 6th place with a 13.67lb 10 fish stringer, which I was pretty happy with, considering that most of my morning SUCKED. If anyone wants to know how or where to catch a million white trout, I'm your man... More later, just pics at the moment.
I'll post some thoughts on my fishing experience separately - for now just wanted to get the photos up and congratulate the winners. This was the first time I've had a chance to experience one of the bigger tournaments, and I was impressed at how smoothly everything is run and how friendly everyone is. Definitely got some useful information to chew on, met some cool people and put in some hard work fishing. Many thanks to Aaron Larose for his hospitality. I actually didn't take a whole lot of photos while fishing this time, these are just from the captains meeting and weigh in at Cypress Cove Marina. Woke up feeling like a freight train hit me after two full days of fishing, almost 30 miles of paddling and about 6hrs of sleep total. Congrats again to everyone that brought home the bacon!
